Tracy is a beautiful woman. She’s sweet, has an infectious laugh, and a kind heart. She’s tough too. She told us about the time she hiked her way through Italy (of course stopping for wine at each little town). An adventurous streak that continued on after she met Evan, her wonderful hubby. Together, they've hiked through Glacier Park, Caifornia, and Scotland!
My vision for Tracy's portrait couture session was to bring out her inner diva. Her sultry siren! We also decided to add in a little boudoir feel to part of the shoot to make a fun surprise for Evan on their anniversary. We decided to shoot the studio, indoor portion at the fabulous Mountain Shadows resort, then we popped over to Mummy Mountain for some "damsel of the desert" shots. Our stylist, Karen Podrasky of KDP Events, found a rockstar dress by Dress the Population, added in some boudoir lingerie, a couture tulle skirt, brought in the glam team and ....BAM🌟🙌🌟...magic!
Monique Flores created a smokey, brown eye that made Tracy's hazel irises pop and paired it with a nude, soft lip. Sheynna, of Nearly Famous Salon, gave me VOLUME and loose curls to create a "oh, i just tumbled out of a snuggle session" dream hairdo.
During our shoot, we turned on a classic jazz playlist and about halfway through the shoot, “Whatever Lola Wants” came on. We all looked at each other and thought, “yep, perfect soundtrack.”
